Here you can view the Kimsey Run Dam built during the early 1990's. Now the Hardy County Commission as well as the Potomac Valley Soil Conservation District in conjunction with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) want to repeat this process TWO more times within a couple of miles of this very dam. Makes you wonder what their objectives really are and if they really need FIVE dams in one small area?

Recently repaired stream bank and road from flooding on back side of dam. This is a reoccurring problem that was not addressed during construction of the dam. The same problem will occur at proposed dam site #16, were the road is beside the river also.
