Petition to Oppose Lower Cove & Cullers Run Dam Projects

We have now made our petition, to stop the Lower Cove & Cullers Run dams, available online for anyone to download, print out, and sign. We encourage all visitors to download this petition and print out as many copies as needed to distribute to your friends, family, and co-workers. As each sheet is filled with signatures and addresses of those who support stopping these projects, please mail us the unaltered/original copy for filing. Photographic copies CANNOT be accepted.

By downloading and signing your name to this petition, you publicly and legally make known that you are a concerned United States and/or West Virginia citizen who opposes the use of federal and state tax dollars being spent for the design and construction of the Lower Cove Dam (Site #16) and the Cullers Run Dam (Site #23).

We HIGHLY encourage all visitors to the site to contact the people listed below to voice your opposition to these dams. As United States citizens, your tax dollars are being abused for wasteful projects like this dam when other counties and states have real flood problems and need this money for disaster recovery or prevention. Contact these following people telling them that you do NOT want your federal tax dollars being used for such a wasteful project.
